Marcel Lamoureux, our FNMI liason worker, is available most days in the counselling office. His role is to:

Meet with FNMI students to help assess and support the academic and social needs of the students

Support FNMI students in their efforts to obtain an education

Assist FNMI students to develop pride in, and appreciation for, their FNMI culture and heritage

Assist teachers and those working with FNMI students to develop an understanding and respect for FNMI culture

Promote FNMI awareness in the school and communityserve as liaison between FNMI students with the various agencies concerned with the education and welfare of FNMI people

Increase the knowledge and understanding of FNMI history in a true and accurate fashion
