Physical Education

Physical Education 10

Physicial Education is an exposure program of as many lifetime sports and recreation activities as possible. It is our hope that from this curriculum, sutdents will be able to select their leisure time activites more intelligently. The objectives of this program are to provide exposure, enjoyment, self-discovery, atittude, skill and knowlege for all students.

Physical Education 20

In Physical Education 20, students are given the opportunity to select activities of their own interest on a limited basis in three areas: team sports, individual sports and compulsory units. Students will recieve instruction in knowledge of rules, techniques,strategy, skill development, oficiating in selected activities.

Physical Education 30

Physical Education is very broad and enables students to select a program which is most appealing to their talents and interests. The students have progressed through the Physical Education 10 and 20 courses which can allow them to select a 30 program which is best suited for them.

Fitness and Well Being 15

This course is divided into four major units: Training Principles, Performance Enhancement, Performance Evaluation, and Perosnal Development. In the first unit, students will become aware of the prinicples of fitness and its important role in establishing and mainatining personal well-being. Studnets will be expected to learn about sport skill development through proper training techniques. Students will be expected to improve personal physical fitness.
